Clear dark amber color with amble foam in the Stella Artois goblet. Pleasantly spritzy on the tongue with a light body. Malty with a modest sweetness. Grainy aroma with the distinctive rye spicy note. Dry finish. Fairly bitter aftertaste in keeping with the IPA style.
Long nose of dark grain and bread. Smooth and clean. The hops don't dominate the robust flavor but contribute some herbal flavors. Nothing fruity about it, for a change. Overall it's a classic Rye Beer with the tangy and spicy flavors. From the 32 oz crowler can filled at the tasting room.
