Clear amber brew with attractive pile of foam in the Blanche de Chambly goblet. Rich and malty with orange marmalade background. Sweet yet balanced with the bitter edge of hops.
Candied citrus peel flavor is quite tasty, followed by some herbal notes. Powerful but doen't taste so alcoholic. A surprisingly drinkable massive IPA that adds to my conviction that Bastion is the leader in Skagit Valley brewing. From the pint crowler can filled at the tasting room on HIghway 20.
