They call this a hazy IPA but it's not very hazy. Mouthfeel is a little slippery so whatever. It's also rather dry with just a brief flicker of malty sweetness. Trying to get a whiff, it smells of unripe melon and old fruit, and I think of the smell of underbrush in the woods. Flavor of green pepper, green beans with a touch of pork.
The finish and long into the aftertaste is totally astringent. It tastes like an overdose of raw hops. This is really not very drinkable, though hard-bitter hop enthusiasts may find it of some interest. From the 16 oz can purchased at their tasting room.
