Clear yellow brew with plenty of foam in the chalice. Light body and spritzy with some malty substance. Starts with a pleasant malty sweetness, but there is a grainy note that adds to the interest. Not exactly hoppy, but some flowers and straw in the nose.
This is clean and less flabby than a lot of light brews, with a touch of astringency in the finish. Overall, this is a really tasty beer that breathes a little life into the Blonde Ale category. From the 16 oz can purchased at the North Sound tasting room.

I had tried a sample of this a few weeks ago, but got the chance to have several this past weekend at the wedding of a couple of friends (Congrats Andrea & Chad!!). Poured the typical pale golden yellow of the style, with a tall, rich, white head that had decent retention and lacing.
The aroma was also fairly typical, mostly grain with some even handed use of hops and just a hint of yeastiness. Yup, that description summed up the taste as well. The beer went well with the charcuterie and cheese plates set up for snacking at the wedding.
The body was a touch fuller than average for the style, Drinkability was very good, if you're in the mood for a lighter brew, or looking for a new lawnmower beer, this would be a solid choice. Overall, a decent example of the style, worth trying when you see it.
