Served in straight pint glass. Poured an opaque yellow with about an inch of white head that had good retention but no lacing.
The aroma was solidly wheaty, just nice grain, no yeast scent. Sadly, I didn't pickup any cherry in the nose either. On the tongue, the story was much the same. Very nice wheat flavors, but no cherry showed through.
The body was nice, full and smooth, and was crisp across the the tongue. Drinkability was very good, you could sit and drink these all day. Overall, this is a good wheat beer, but I was wanting the cherry flavor. Perhaps it's just an issue with this batch. I'll certainly try again and adjust my scores as needed. In the meantime I;ll just enjoy this nice summer brew as a straight wheat beer.
