Served in straight pint glass. Poured a semi-cloudy brownish amber color with over a half-inch of light khaki head that had good retention and lacing.
In the aroma the rye was noticeable, but relatively subdued. The rest of the malt profile was pretty soft as well and the citrusy hops were also a bit muted. On the tongue, all the aspects were better defined, the malts a bit more grainy, the rye crisper and the hops a bit sharper.
The body was good, even and smooth, with a nice tangy finish. Drinkability was very good, I'll be having a few more of these while they're around. Overall, a pretty nice beer, certainly worth trying if you see it.
