I had this beer on-tap in a nonic at the brewery.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a light haze and a thin layer of white foam atop.

Smell: moderately sweet malt with a big dose of green, grassy hops. Not bad.

Taste: a somewhat sweet malt base and a rather big hit of bitter hops. Definitely on the bitter side for the style, but still nice.

Mouthfeel: medium-light body but with a big, smooth carbonation. It works for me.

Overall: a nice pale, if rather bitter.

Lovely amber brew with an enthusiastic foam in the Stella Artois goblet. Soda water taste and sensation in the mouth. Light body. Just a touch of malt. Quite dry.

Resiny and sharp. Green tea steeped too long. Rather bitter for a Pale Ale, at least it's a long, lingering bitter finish that outstays its welcome. From the 32 oz growler purchased at the North Sound tasting room.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a Lightly hazy medium yellow color with less than 1/2 inch of just off-white head that had low retention and lacing.

The first aroma was sweet malt, followed by a solid dose of piney hops. The flavors started out with the same malty sweetness, and the pine hops were strong across most of the tongue, and there was a slight bit of citrus tartness at the back end.

The body nicely on the full side of typical, very smooth and even, and had a somewhat surprisingly dry finish, considering the sweetness. Drinkability was solidly decent, my pint was gone quickly, and I'll certainly have more while it's around. Overall, a solid take on the style. Not worth going out of your way for, but certainly worth a shot if you see it.
