Pours a clear golden amber with a white foam in the big tumbler. Carbonation is quite adequate with a sharpish zing. The initial taste is a very pleasing nuttiness with a malt mellowness. There is something pleasingly grainy with just a little of the resiny tang that I associate with rye.
This is a smooth and simple brew with a little tanginess and more flavors than a lot of the more pale wheats. One of the better examples of the American wheat category. It makes a satisfying quaff with just an edge of bitterness at the end, as the lightly sweet malt gives way to the cereal and hop flavors. From the 32 oz growler filled at the brewery this afternoon.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a very hazy pale straw yellow color with about 1/2 inch of white head that had good retention and light lacing.
The aroma had a good grainy base, with some light yeast and gentle hops in the background. The same grains and hops were on the tongue, but the yeast had a brighter light and added a nice tang to the finish.
The body was smooth and easy, but there was a bit of stickiness on the finish. Drinkability was very good, I could have sat on the deck of the bar where I had this, and poured them down in succession. Overall, a pretty nice little beer, very refreshing during our current warm streak. Worth a shot if you see it.
