Food and family is what Dolce Mio is all about. Inspired by my Nonna’s Brooklyn-Sicilian heritage, this Imperial Brown is brewed with a mob of malts, cacao, vanilla beans and lactose. It’s big, rich and boozy so we ‘garnished’ it with a little lemon peel and Maine grown Nugget hops to keep it balanced. It can be a dangerous thing to bring your job home with you. So at the end of the day, leave whatever you don’t need and bring home the Cannoli!

L: Bright deep dark brown with a 1" light tan cap

S: rich chocolate, vanilla, lemon and soft malt aromas.

T: Actually taste a little like a cannoli - a very rich dessert beer with chocolate and vanilla in the lead.

F: medium full body, very soft medium carbonation.

O: Luscious, rich, delightful.

A: Pours a deep mahogany/brown color with w fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap that leaves decent lacing

S: Toasted malt, raw cacao, light vanilla bean and lactose sweetness, and a touch of citrus

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the toasted malt, cacao, and vanilla. Picks up some lactose sweetness and balancing citrus undertones. Finishes with lingering bittersweet cacao and vanilla bean

M: Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation

O: A solid dessert beer that is nicely balanced. Definitely not on the sweet side thanks to the citrus. Proves that not all dessert beers have to be super sweet to be dessert beers
