From the 16 o can dated 01/22/2020. Sampled on April 10, 2020.
Gorgeous looking dark brown to jet black pour with a long-lasting mocha head and some lacing.
Pungent and enticing aromas of cacao, vanilla, chocolate fudge, and a floral or earthy presence. No alcohol for 9%.
The mouthfeel is smooth and a bit better than medium.
Big sweet and roasted chocolate taste with a dry finish. No booze in the flavor either. Better than decent but I am partial to the style.

A: Pours a near pitch black color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap
S: Roasted malt, dark chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, and some caramel
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with a mix of roasted malt, cocoa, and vanilla. Picks up the dark chocolate and caramel towards the finish. Finishes with lingering roast, char, and vanilla
M: Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation
O: A solid imperial stout that is well balanced. Definitely not on the sweet side, even with the cocoa and vanilla. Makes for a nice sipper
