Storms can be inconvenient but it's all in how we handle it, and up here we can handle it. With a lush malt profile and dynamic citrus, fruit-forward hop profile, this New England IPA is brewed to get us through any weather.

Pint on draft in a shaker at Barley House in Concord, NH.

Appearance: Big frothy white head on top of a hazy yellow gold beer. Looks great.

Aroma: Hops, pine, tropical fruits.

Taste: Very fruit forward. Mango, pineapple, orange, grapefruit. Little bit of lemon. Really tasty! Pine and hops are there too.

Mouthfeel: Drinkable. Not heavy. What you’d want from an IPA.

Overall: Very tasty fruit-forward IPA. One of the best I’ve had in a long time. Also nice to have an IPA that is packed with flavor and not in the banana zone re: booze or IBU.

Sample at Thirsty Moose Manchester with jcwattsrugger
Hazy light gold color with a thin white head that slowly dissipates. Citrus and earth with a hint of grass. Brady light toasty malt not bad.

BAXTER

Baxter Brewing Co. IPA - New England / Hazy

Smooth pineapple aroma pops. The hops are full of pineapple and sweet citrus flavor. Very bold, almost as if there us pineapple puree added. Very soft and smooth, the golden malt side provides an excellent cover. Flavor's burst, and the feel is warm.

Purchased at Monadnock Food Co-op

Look: Hazy golden/tangerine color, bright foamy head that fades moderately.

Smell: Mostly mango and pineapple.

Taste: First taste is the citrus, finishes with the bright hoppes and warmth of a typical winter styled NEIPA.

Feel: Great bodied NEIPA, nothing overly special. Just a great feeling NEIPA, very refreshing.

Overall: Doesn't seem like anything special really, but it is a great beer in its own right. Highly recommend to those looking for a simpler IPA.
