First had: on tap at Rogue, Portland, OR
Poured a cloudy honey color with a thin, foamy white head that streaked the glass but didn't leave any real lacing. Aroma is herbal, perfumey and honey-sweet. Taste is pretty much full-blown chamomile tea up front, giving way to a nice honey sweetness and definite notes of vanilla and light leafy spice. Moderate carbonation, and on the lighter side of medium-bodied. A pleasant, easy-drinking beer overall.

Sampled 4/28/2011 at the Rogue Ale House in SF.
Listed as a house beer so at first I thought this was contracted by Rogue but after looking at the Buckman website I see that the brewer is a distiller at Rogue. This particular beer has chamomile in it.
Pours dark orange, mostly clear, rocky white head that doesnt lace much or last.
Aroma is heavy on the tea. Flowers, tea, malt, and earthy hops. Nice I suppose, if you need something to relax and you are in to tea.
Flavor is definitely tea-like. Black tea and flowery. Some caramel flavors mix with the vegetal and black pepper flavors that make up the flavor that is dominated by the tea.
Body is medium, could probably stand to be carbonated a little more to be more of a beer that you'd drink a pint of rather than an 8oz mug while reading and trying to go to sleep. Drinkable.
