Sampled 4/28/2011 at the Rogue Public House in SF.
Pours hazy red/orange, like so many of the Rogue beers, no lacing or retention. It looked neat in the light though, kind of neon.
Aroma is ginger, wow thats strong, but it's fresh ginger. Also some caramel and more ginger.
Flavor is ginger, caramel malts, light bitterness, bready malt, and a faint citrus note.
Body is medium, not a horrible beer but kind of weird without much going on. Meh.
