A: clear golden beer with medium off white head.
A: hits with coffee up front and creates an unexpected blend with hints of coco, cut grass, mild citrus, and honey. Unique but it works.
T: again it's a unique blend of coffee and chocolates with a smooth sweet honey, pine and citrus.
M: medium light body that leaves a lingering hop bitterness that quickly overtakes the coffee. Finishes sticky with pine and chocolates on the tongue. Couldn't even tell the ABV was hidden back there.
O: very interesting combination that actually works in this beer. Surprisingly drinkable and enjoyable.

From 12 oz bottle dated best by 5/9/17. Minimal head, slightly hazy honey color. A little to watery for a DIPA. Smell is quite different And not expected for a IPA. Lots of coffe and chocolate notes. Taste is also quite unique. Semi bitter coffee then a nice hop bite finishing with smooth sweet malt. For 90 IBU it is sure easy to drink and not overly bitter. The 9% is well hidden. Overall this as a killer beer and I really like the idea of a coffee IPA. It works very well here.
