Awesome wine and beer bottle shop with an excellent tap selection, good vibe, and great food. Live music, special events, tap take overs are all killer. Rare bottles continuously coming and going at a quick turn around. Only negative for me is they only sell as singles, and can be a bit over priced. Cheers!

Amazing Grapes is a fantastic little beer stop for anyone in south Orange County. What they lack in size of their craft beer offerings they make up for with quality. I generally stop in a few times a month and have never walk away disappointed. The staff is always helpful and friendly and the store is always clean and well organized. There website is also a huge plus for them as well. It is generally always up to date and an accurate reflection of their stock at the moment. If they would start carrying a few more limited release beers I would give them an A+ all the way.

Edit-3/26/12 - Amazing Grapes is stepping up there game and there beer selection grows every time I visit. They now have an impressive selection that includes many limited release and hard to find beers.

Edit again 5/23/14 - They have completely remodeled the entire store to focus more on the bar and it has paid off. They were featured on the reality tv show the profit and they have become the go to craft beer location for the area. There selection of beers on tap are second to none. They always something really special on tap. There bottle selection has also improved as well. You can find almost anything you are looking for. Definite must stop if you are visiting the area.

I was driving around in the shopping center to get to Cismontane Brewing when I drove past this store on the way. Despite being a wine store, it advertised having over 100 craft beers (personally I think it's more than that). After my stay at Cismontane, I drove the 300 feet need to enter Amazing Grapes.

Very darkly lit on the inside with the cash register right as you walk in. Go to the right upon entering and you come across the booty. A long line of coolers on the right side house a surprising selection of craft beer. The rest of the sales floor held boatloads of wine and a tasting bar.

Just as impressive as the beer selection was the presentation of it. The coolers are clean, orgainzed, and dust-free. Pliny the Elder bottled less than a week from my visit is a good sign, a "fresh" tasting Hardcore IPA further enhances my confidence with quality control. And the beer? No major brands are found here, all craft. There's Mikkeller, BrewDog, Stone, AleSmith, The Bruery, Lost Abbey (including Deliverence Ale), Russian River (including Supplication), Victory, Ommegang...shit, my brain's gone blank about other brands I spotted. They're priced extremely well too.

Walking towards checkout, I am asked right away if that's where I'm headed. He helps me out and we start talking beer. He was very fluent in beerinese and had asked if I had visited Cismontane Brewing. How nice of you to ask me, I just came from there!

What an unexpected find. It's far from where I live, but on days which I decide to check out Cismontane Brewing, I'll only need one stone to kill two birds as I can also check out Amazing Grapes in the same shopping center. You should too.
