May 13th, 2016 - A friend send these along from the East Coast, and I'm feeling quite lucky to give these a try. Blue Pants seems like a fun place, with funky, unpredictable beers. All that from just one sample. This brew is spicy, floral and funky, and more soapy than funky. It's a complex bouquet, and matched with a light palate. The aftertaste is long and flavorful. Biscuity, refined and floral, it offers light touches of apple and pear in a taste duet. The role of the Brett yeast is underplayed, but offers a mild funk throughout.

Very impressive Brett IPA. No doubt the best TN or AL has to offer. Wow, this is such a good beer. Smells tart, funky and barnyard. Tastes hoppy, juicy and funky just like the bottle says. Tons of billowy head on this one, which I love. Well carbed, which I love. I'm not joking, this is one of the best available beers (bar none) in TN or AL.

750 poured into tulip
beautiful appearance with loads of head and heavy lacing that sticks around, practically loiters.
smells wonderful- lots of brett funk, some citrus hop notes, very exciting.
tastes like a straightforward brett IPA. Nothing super complex, a bit of funk, a bit earthy, hops take a back seat.
body is kinda thin IMO, i wish it was a little heavier but it is still a very enjoyable beer.
overall i'm very very happy with this brett IPA from a local brewer. Picking up a case to age.

Poured from 750 ml bottle dated 3/27/2016 into snifter.
A: Mostly clear pale yellow with 2-3 finger frothy white head leaving some heavy lacing.
S: Punch of citrus with grapefruit, pineapple, and mango with some fresh cut hay.
T: Ctirus and floral hops up front with subtle earthy funk and light tartness hanging in the back.
M: Medium body and average carbonation. Finish has a nice balance between hop bitterness and brett funk.
O: Outstanding Brett IPA. Need to go pick up another bottle before these disappear.
