L - Yellow golden opaque. light easily goes through the beer itself, but it is not clear. Bubbles are large and dissipate rather quickly. No lacing on my tulip glass.

S - If you are familiar with citra hops, they are easily found on the nose. The surprising part is that I get none of the sour smell that I was expecting. Light to small amounts of malt. Citra is not overpowering whatsoever. Very pleasant.

T - This is a good sour beer for those who do not like sours that have strong bitterness or gamey taste. This is actually quite pleasant. I get a dandelion flavor at the beginning with more floral notes blending to a tart finish. Same feeling one might get from biting into their first green apple of the season. Spot on.

F - Light. carbonation seems a tad off - but is easily overlooked by the other good showings.

O - Altogether it is a very good beer. I am sad that I only have one bottle of this limited brew.

Palate Contaminants: other beer

Appearance is a pale yellow, a bit AAL-like. There's a fine white head that goes away quickly.

The smell is super piney, nuts and needles, mostly. There's also a bit of savory nuttiness, a bit like hazelnut and walnut sugar. There's also a bit of honey and a floral scent.

It has a pleasant mild sweetness. I'm going to go with honeysuckle. There is a little bit of savory and sour. The main flavor is white wood, with the pine fading away. The characteristics are interesting (and good), but more would-be flavors are indistinct to me. Maybe I can say that there is something similar to orange rinds there.

The feel is moderate-thin weight, and the carbonation isn't particularly well integrated. The aftertaste is pleasant, with the mild sweetness hanging around.
