almost no head but very pleasant saltwater aroma, also a strong lemon orange and tangerine aroma, the citrus comes through as an equal but not invasive component of the beer. of the American gose brews I've had this beer had a more natural taste of both fruit and salt. a great beer for an Alabama summer.

First Gose I've ever had of this type. Not as Sour as I expected coming from the other similar brews. More salty than sour but not unenjoyable at all.

Perhaps the gose beers I've tried in the past have been light on salt and this one is in-keeping with the traditional German approach. But it's the saltiest beer I've ever tasted, and not in a good way. Look is on point and feel is quite full and silky. Smell is tart, sharp, funky, and very salty (think sea water). But that taste. So briny. You pick up tart citrus, sour candy, big grass and cracker notes. But it's like half the sip is salt water, which overtakes everything else.
