Crust, Caramel, Clean, Grassy
Pretty much a mouthful of bread, perhaps more crust as well. Very much a malt bomb with a grainy character that does not shake off the palate. Boarding on cloying, but we’ll keep on sipping. Kiss of caramel and a hint of alcohol. A bit off balance though the malt character is very much there, just was hoping for a bit more hop to keep things in check.

Short note, Just picked up a six pack 4/24/15. Quite tasty. I would assume that it is not retired?

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a dark bronze color with amber hues and a 1 inch head. Smell is mild, a few malts are present. Taste is crisp, malts, light hops, touch of caramel, easy drinking. Feels light in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Poured out a clear, copper/amber color with a one-finger, white head of foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of roasty malt with touch of grassy hops. It had a sweet malty flavor with a grassy hop bitterness. It was crisp, sharp and smooth.
