Woody dark brown, almost burgundy, with a thin tan blanket.
Nose isn't all that different from flavor aside from being less powerful. What I get in both is nutty, aerated roasted malt, salted nuts, salted chocolate-caramel, toffee, and bitter coffee.
Dry, with the perceived or actual salt lending an almost tart element.
