Served under name "Kikane". Very good porter with nice dark chocolate accents. Excellent body and mouth feel. Had on tap and the Brew pub. Creamy and very tasty sipper.

Difficult to rate since it has changed so much over the years. Has tasted everything from dark roasted malts to chocolate milk. However, it has really improved lately, and has a nice sweet chocolate flavor to it.

A clear dark brown beer, a tan head with good lacing and good curtains.

Smells of smoke and wood, some chocolate.

Staring with sweet brown sugar, then smoked sausage and some dark fruits.

Little carbonation, soft and oily, a nice dry finish.

An easy session-able good porter, nice smoke touch.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Has an oily black texture in the glass with a minimal brown head. When you smell it you immediately feel the cocoa and then som pleasant toffee and grass. The taste is also dominated by cocoa without becoming either too bitter or too sweet, perfect balance. However, it lacks in mouthfeel, it doesn’t quite feel as heavy as the taste suggest. All in all though, this is a fantastic brew for a brewery’s first beer.
