Copenhagen 10/7 2025. 25 cl bottle from Systembolaget, Emporia, Hyllie.
Simple black label with the name of the beer and brewery in white letters.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Settles as paper thin patch of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of dark roasted malts, mingling with licorice and cough medicine. Toffee and brown sugar. Dark alcohol. Salty licorice. Medicine like.
Light carbonation. Thick oily viscous, soft and lightly tingling texture.
Flava is intense with a medium, strong, sweetness, followed by a sharp bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is dry and better.
A potent little bottle. Quite good for my bad cough.
