Fruit flavored beers are my weakness. I will try just about any fruit beer, just to change things up from having yet another IPA. And I would say 80% of them are disappointing because they use either artificial flavors to amp up the fruit, or use real fruit without getting much additional flavor in there. This one was part of the 20% good ones. It wasn't amazing or something I will go out of my way to get more of, but it was a solid fruit beer, with a nice smell and taste of blackberries. I might quibble with it having much of a "hefe" base tho (I didn't catch much yeast in the nose or taste)

Berry smell pleasant & pronounced but not enough to warrant a better rating.
