Served in an imperial nonic pint glass
This beer pours dark brown with some ruby highlights. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves decent lacing.
The peanut butter begins to open up as it warms. I also get some roasted malt.
Decent peanut butter flavor and generic roasted malt flavor. Improves as it warms.
Pretty thin bodied for a porter with a fairly thin mouthfeel as well
I wasn't crazy about this beer at first. Once it approached room temperature it greatly improved.
