Very interesting and different beer. Pours clean, golden hue with a thumb wide white head of tiny bubbles. Guessing based on the carb, this one either uses Brett or the farmhouse cultivated yeast or both. Not much on the nose. A little muted lemon maybe. The taste is really oak prominent. It takes two drinks to start getting past the oak character. A little lactic lemon on that palate. This one isn't aggressively tart and would be an easy wild ale to introduce someone to the style. Given the bit of funk, this tastes like a cross between a kolsch and a berliner with a huge oak presence.
