Hazy burnt amber-orange with a tall overactive but airy khaki foam settling in bubbly, spongy chunks.
Terrifically funky, pungent apricot and candied stone fruit galore! This is a uniquely fruity beer for having no fruit added. Toasted seeds and nutty dusty oak accent the middle palate, in front of a wild honey character. With a couple more sips I even get a touch of raspberry and wildflower.
The crisply effervescent medium body becomes firmly fulfilling before the semi-dry finish enhances the lightly tingly tartness that's very nicely balanced.
Really unique, complex, and delicious.

This is a quite good and interesting American Wild Ale
Look: Hazy dark golden with a huge fluffy snow white head
Aroma: honey, lemon, butter
Taste: The flavor is tart, sweet, lemon, honey, white wine and butterscotch.
Body/Overall: light to medium body, easy drinking

Would I buy this again? Maybe. I honestly have not enjoyed any of the SPON variants more then just regular SPON. Though this is very good and worth having, if giving a selection of SPON, I'd definitely pick the non-variant regular SPON over all variants.
