This is the review for Jester King 2018 Spon Three Year Blend Nr-3. Nr-1 & Nr-2 are in their respective place. I tasted them side by side. The flavors were pretty similar but not the same. They are all tart, lemony, a little bit sweet, Geuze like, they have some barnyard funk, they taste a bit like champagne, and they all have a grassy bitterness towards the end, and they are all great. However, I liked this one second best because it was a bit bland.
Look: hazy dark golden like apple juice, with an inch thick white frothy head
Aroma: biscuit, lemon, barnyard funk, grassy
Taste: tart, lemon, sweet, champagne, barnyard funk, grassy bitterness, pretty similar to Nr-1 but a bit less of everything. Since Nr-1 was pretty perfect I am rating this one slightly less.
Body/Overall: light to medium body
