For this year's batch, we added Ethiopian Daye Bensa Bombe from our friends at Figure 8 Coffee Purveyors in Austin (imported by Falcon Coffees). The dry fermented coffee has tasting notes of "Sweet Apricot, Bergamot, Jasmine, Black Tea, Creamy".

Appearance: Pours espressso colored with a bubbly one finger tan head that pancakes; leggy with some spots of lacing
Smell: Rich chocolate, molasses, coffee and blueberry tones with a hint of apricot
Taste: Chocolate and molasses forward with the blueberry and apricot elements peeking through; the coffee takes over, after the swallow, and blends in the finish with the other elements
Mouthfeel: Full bodied and somewhat creamy; low to moderate carbonation; warmth in the gullet
Overall: A really bold Imperial Stout with strong flavors in every direction
