I haven't had very many beers in the Marzen style, Ayinger's version being my favorite, this was similar, in that is was nice and full bodied, but perhaps the malt character betrayed a somewhat overly syrupy character, had perhaps a hint of herbal hop, with a cereal grain finish. Not bad.
