Acquired via trade from Donkster46 so a big “Thank You” goes out to him. Poured from a 16oz can into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep yellowish gold color, with a large off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a very spotty lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains citrus, light caramelized malts, some spice and some hops.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of citrus, caramel and some spice. Then some breadiness comes in from a hearty but not too heavy malt character. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, decent representation of style, this is a solid beer to drink for a while.

Poured from a can into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a light golden amber with a half finger white head with good retention and nice lacing. Nice aroma of biscuit malt and light grassy hops, reminiscent of a pilsner. Flavor is biscuit male, grassy hops, light citrus with an unfortunate astringent tartness to the finish. Light to medium bodied. The can opened a bit more lively than I expected (but not a gusher), and the odd finish to this is similar to a beer that's gone off. This is not a fresh can, but less than a few weeks old, so it's not overaged. Not sure is this is intended to tasted this way or went a bit off, but not a fan of this one. Nice aroma, and if it had followed through, I'd have been pleased. A miss. Cool can illustration and concept.
