Pale amber with lots of white foam and lacing in the bulbous wheat beer glass. It tastes like a Pale Ale with bitterness added, but they call it "Ale with citrus rind added." That would be grapefruit but maybe there is some lemon in the mix. I don't taste orange.
Light and sudsy mouthfeel. Rather sharp, but less acidic than a typical big IPA. Lemony aroma, but the citrus seems to hide the flavor and aroma of the alleged Citra hops. Still, it's crisp and easy to drink. Label says ABV is 4.7%. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.
