Visited on the evening of the 29/09/2010. A 5-10 min walk from the Lowenbraukeller and Stiglmaierplatz U Bahn station, we stopped after visiting Lowenbrau for dinner, on our way to the Fest.
A single room pub, lots of dark wooden tables, yellow walls with lots of Spaten brewerania on the walls, with the bar facing you as you walk in.
Very quiet on this Wednesday day evening, us and about 4 other tables, considering there were only 2 servers, maybe they were expecting to be quiet. Maybe because of the Fest? Not sure.
Waiter was very friendly, ordered 2 Festbier, he nodded and promptly returned with 2 helles! Must have been my rubbish German! Nevertheless, bier was served in the appropriate Spaten willibecher and in excellent condition.
Selection was obviously Spaten franziskaner - Festbier, helles and Fransiskaner Weizen. As expected. Disappointed not to see a dunkel on the menu

Well, i like the nostalgic feel of the place, but i was very underwhelmed, i expected a real showpiece for Spatens brewery tap! Maybe that explains the lack of people, or maybe cus its out of the main tourist area. Lowenbrau seems to do ok! Just a one bier place for me! Shame!
