Magenta colored with an aroma of macerated berries.
The fruit flavor is very pronounced. Like biting into a raspberry, there's a fizzle of the hairs, a prick on the tongue...you know from the little thorny bits a fuzz on the raspberry. There's a pure blueberry quality like a sour patch kid without any sugar.
So, this beer stands its ground as a sour with limited sweetness. If Ocean-Spray made a 1/2 cal, 1/2 sugar lo-cal blue-razz drink, which you ran under a soda stream that's approaching what I'm perceiving. Not a milkshake style sour.
