Got a growler filled at Olivers in Albany, where they list it as an Amber Ale and 4.3% ABV. . . . .
A: Poured into a pint glass, the body is clear chestnut brown with a small ecru/khaki-colored head. Good lacing left behind.
S: Bready and toasty. Caramel malt with a slight nuttiness. Not particularly strong in the nose, but clean and appropriate for the style.
T: Caramel malt, biscuity malt and some cereal grains up front. Toasty with a bit of nuttiness. Finishes slightly metallic/minerally with a lingering aftertaste of some citrusy bitterness as well.
M: Good smooth creaminess; light-to-medium in heft.
O: Very good stuff. Easily quaffable.
