Black body with a little brown around the edges, tan mocha foam that leaves behind a lacing collar in the glass and a spare broken skim across the surface.
Mellow roasted malt aroma, some licorice, dry cocoa, and very light char. Slight oxidation setting in.
Big bodied, bitter dark chocolate with a little bit of sweetness at first. Chocolate dominates, with some roasty char and light coffee behind that. Chewy feel, good in small doses. Liked better than the Audacity I also tried.
