Loved this one in the past...super psyched to get a 2013 in a trade box. Shared with the mrs from TB batch 004 sherry glasses.
a - Pours a deep mahogany with a finger of frothy head that didn't hang and left some lines of lace on the glass and a skin of bubbles on the surface.
s - Nose is bourbon glazed caramel and toffee, super inviting.
t/m/o - Taste is spot on delicious. The barrel is kind of subtle but brings some chocolate decadence, but the toffe like malts are the highlight here. Just a super solid barleywine with a glazing of some barrel aging. Super tasteful and classy. Really loved this.
