Pint on tap at El Corazon in a shaker.
Appearance: Cloudy. Cloudy cloudy cloudy. Looks damned near like mango juice. Short white head, fair amount of lace.
Aroma: Lots of hops and fruit. Mango, pineapple, apricot, grapefruit.
Taste: Big fruit-forward IPA. Apricot seems to lead the way. Lots of tropical fruit, and some pine notes. Mango, citrus. Bit of malt backing.
Mouthfeel: The booze is somewhat noticeable, and it’s pretty bitter, so this isn’t a fast drink. Paired well with enchiladas, though.
Overall: I don’t understand the name or what the theme is here, but I do know this is a really good DIPA. Grab it if you find it.
