Hop Swap (6.1% ABV) is named for a process - a deliberate brewing of a solid American Ale where the hops are annually swapped out as an experiment. The 2012 Hop Swap has Centennial, Cascade and Citra hops in it.
The grapefruit and pine notes of the Cascade and Centennial hops blend perfectly with the mango and passion fruit aromas from the Citra hops. This draft only offering forces you to drink it now when the hop character is at its best. Swirl, sniff and quaff away!

Now that's some hoppy goodness. Drank from the can so not sure how it looks, but very drinkable.

L: Clear, copper colored body, nice carbonation. Originally produced a fluffy head, though it went away over time. Leaves a nice lace on the side of the glass.
S: Sweet, smells of lemon and pine. Get a little cereal graininess in this as well personally. Hints of ethanol.
T: Very well balanced. The malt has a large presence in this beer, which keeps the hops in balance. Hops themselves come off as piney and lemon citrusy, just as the nose. Definately some dark fruit flavors as well.
F: Finishes nicely. Its an IPA so obviously a little dry, body is a bit light, carbonation standard. There's really nothing to complain about.
O: Solid IPA, enjoyable and highly drinkable, interesting flavors. Absolutely worth a try.
