Poured out of a 330ml bottle into tulip glass.
Certainly easy drinking for a 5.8% ipa. Bottle says peach and apricot flavours but I'm only really getting a hoppy, orange taste coming through but that's not bad thing. Not going to change your life but a very enjoyable ipa

Appearance (Look) = 6%
pale, fizzy, dissipating head
Smell = 24%
flowers, pine, mango
Taste = 40%
aroma hops up front, bitter out the back from hops and yeast. Not much malt in the middle
Mouthfeel (Feel) = 10%
carbonated.

not bad. I can pick up a lot of hops going on. I wish there was something more interesting with the malts. My standard is dogfish head 60, 90, and 120 min IPAs and this isn't as good as the 60. It isn't bad, just not my favourite.

A: Beautiful light orange with lots of sediment.
S: Orange, mango, licorice, slight dark chocolate. An odd 'off' scent - is it yoghurt?
T:Toffee, grassy malts with mango and lemony and piney hops. The hops are relatively subdued for the style. Lovely sweet bread and brown sugar. Overall, there is lots of sweetness to balance out the hops. Some marmalade. The aftertaste is pine and lemon; lots of lemon. Some pepper. The hops linger for a while.
M: Great mouthfeel. Quite thick with just enough carbonation.
Overall: More balanced than you would expect from an IPA, but it's still heavy on the hops. Great nuances and very drinkable for the ABV. Good beer.

330ml bottle, poured into La Chouffe tulip.
A: Golden, slightly hazy, initially there was a one and a half finger head which morphed into a lid of film, moderate lacing.
S: Citrus hops and grapefruit.
T: Lots of grapefruit, notes of rubber and cork, leant towards hoppy bitterness. Lingering bitter finish with a touch of wheat.
M: Slightly thick texture, bitterness gave a coarse edge.
O: Well made, but very similar to whatothers are doing.

A cacophony of citrus and floral aromas and flavours that was somewhat confusing to start with but became more balanced as the initial assault waned. The overall score was only applied at the end.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Aug 2015. Acquired a little while back from Beeritz. Described on the label as an IPA brewed with a blend of hops from around the globe.
Poured into a Duvel tulip. Bottle conditioned. A bright orange-amber hue with faint haze and medium carbonation. Yields a small head of frothy white foam that lasts for a minute or two before subsiding to a patchy surface layer. Aroma of weird fruitiness - the dominant impression is one of sweet strawberry yoghurt. Hints of berries, white grape, tangerine, subtle citrus, grass/hay, mild earthiness, a twinge of butter and faint stewed hops. Surprisingly sweet; it smells underattenuated despite being bottle conditioned. A most bizarre combo.
Tastes of fruity aromatic hops followed by a lingering bitter finish. Notes of sweet berries, yoghurt, white grape, tangerine/clementine, sharp lime, citrus, mild grass/hay, subtle earthy yeast, faint malt and stewed hops. Somewhat sweet, followed by a hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with decent carbonation and a slightly insubstantial body. Hops oils tickle the tastebuds. Mildly astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of fruity hops, hints of yoghurt, yeast and a leafy bitterness.
Hoppy enough to be interesting, but the overall effect is rather odd. I'm not sure where the yoghurt comes from. Looks OK - pity there isn't much of a head. The aroma and flavour are intensely fruity and quite sweet; the hop blend gives variety to the character but the beer is let down by a lack of attenuation. Body is lacklustre and could be more substantial. There's a good beer in here somewhere but the flaws need to be ironed out first. Worth trying but no need to hunt it down.
