500ml Bottle from Morrison's supermarket:
Dark & smoky to start, the beer was a little harsh initially with some touches of wood as well & hints earthy bitterness & coffee a little further on. There was some sweetness a little later thanks to the chocolate, liquorice & some faint vanilla too but there wasn't much in the way of the elderflower or raspberries that were promised sadly, the closest it got was some floral flavours around the middle of the beer. It was an easy enough beer to drink but sadly it wasn't overly exciting or one I'd hurry back to given how one-dimensional it proved to be.

Bottle. Dark brown. Tan head. The froth quickly dissipates.
Aroma of green vegetation, liquorice and charred bread. Unusual and not to my liking.
Improves upon tasting. Roasted coffee and Pontefract cake.
Rather thin.
Hmm?
