an excellent beer, available only in their mix pack from what i understand, it was delicious, and they should make it again, make it more available, i would but it again for sure. its a session belgian pale ale as they call it, with as much yeast flavor as hop, really excellent brew. the color is mostly clear, golden, with a tall white head that doesnt hardly settle at all. it smells like juicy hops, citra and maybe galaxy, lots going on with the yeast too, funky but not bretty, rustic, saison more than belgian. i love the low abv, high carbonation, but still roughly medium body and all the dryness, its just on point. the yeast is awesome, again more saison than anything, a little spice to it, and a good compliment to the citrusy juicy hops, mosaic in here too maybe. it even has a little mineral tang on the back end, makes me not quite pucker, but my mouth waters of another sip as soon as i swallow. almost no bitterness at all, especially for something dubbed an ipa. an outstanding beer for summer weather, nice with picnic type foods, and while maybe not a textbook belgian ipa, it really is a wonderful beverage!
