Picked up a 750ml bottle from the Craft Beer Hop Stop 10-9-17 for $15.99. Bottled on 2-23-17.
Beer poured burgundy brown into my Chimay chalice with a nice off white head.
Nose is dark fruits.
Taste is very wine like, figs, currants, some cocoa nibs, and a soft touch of booze all forming a very tasty medley. Finish is very well balanced and not close to cloying with nice warming alcohol on this 80 degree Novembeer day.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and very smooth.
Overall this is a delicious beer that i am glad i splurged on!
