Draft at the brewpub.
Pours a hazy light copper/chestnut brown color with tangerine hues and a one finger frothy off white head that slowly eases into a thick lasting ring. Chunks of soapy lacing left behind.
Sweet malt aroma with a slight earthy character. Hints of caramel, rye, toffee and biscuity hazelnut. Faint floral hops.
Medium bodied but fuller than expected for the style with a surpisingly hop forward presence. Dry and earthy without being bitter because of the prominet sweet malt. Hints of caramel, rye toffee, hazelnut, biscuit and light fruit Especially apricot and maybe even some orange.

A: unfiltered dark red color with a light white head.
S: interesting blend of spices such as what you would find in ethnic foods. Mixes alight caramel and molasses aromas in the malts.
T: strong flavor of caramel and molasses malts
M/d: medium bodied loose feel on the tongue and slightly creamy. Good drinkability great nose and decent taste a good session beer.
