On tap and available in bottles at their taproom, a new pilot/experimental beer. A Belgian Blonde.

Pours a honey golden with a thick, soapy white head that latches on to the sides. Aroma is a bit simple, but I guess that goes with the style and is the intent; some honey, clove, mild banana, a hint of some orange rind, graininess and light pepper. Flavor is light, dry and crisp; some honey and spice, cracker and graininess, a touch of some orange rind and by the end a little peppery. A thinner, crisp active mouthfeel that works well. Overall, a nice light beer that fits the season and weather but nothing that will knock your socks off. Worth a try but not one that will generate repeat tries from me, personally.
