Taster at brewery. For a beer called Hop Heaven, this seems to be all about the malts. Light caramelly notes in aroma and taste, whatever hops used offer a bit of bitterness and some dryness..

Hope this is not an old bottle. Ordered from MadeInOregon.com. Anyhow. The colour is an attractive golden orange. But the mouthfill is a bit syrupy, not the crips dry feel I am hoping.
The taste is not any better. Like a lot of PNW IPA that I've tried, it has that soapy & perfumey taste that is off-putting for me. There is an absence of bitterness that made me enjoy a good IPA. The whole bottle took awhile for me to finish. Or maybe I just do not enjoy PNW IPA at all.

dark, orangish-brown color with a very nice, lacey head..sweet & spicy aroma tingling with piney hops and a superb christmas cookie feel to it...very dark, spicey flavors come through..almost toasty and definitely soothing. Poured on tap in room temp pint glass
