Taster at brewery. Weak golden pour, aroma and taste too. Everything has been tame so far, on style, but thats about it. This is no exception. Drinkable and forgettable.

First had: on tap at their brewpub
Yellow-orange pour, slightly cloudy with a fizzy white head that receded fast but left a bit of soapy lacing on the glass. Nice lemony aroma, biscuity yeast and a touch of floral hops. The aroma followed through to the taste well, sweet with malts, citrusy, lemon zest, pithy and dry, with notes of spicy yeast and floral hops. Nice one. Medium body and easily drinkable.

Had on-tap at CRBC in Portland, OR. Poured a hazy straw yellow color with a sizeable white head that receded quickly, leaving streaky lacing throughout the glass. Had an aroma of citrusy/floral hops and crisp wheat. Taste followed the nose, and I really enjoyed the hop profile of this one. Probably one of the hoppier pale ales that I have had.
Light-medium in body with moderate carbonation. Overall, recommended.

A bottle left over after GABF judging and given to me as a reward for my volunteer efforts. Pours a finger of light-tan head over a nearly clear light rust liquid. Smells lemony and tropical from hops with potent hay and grassy character. Grapefruit pith, mild pine, and a touch of baby aspirin.
In the mouth, hoppy with malt sweet and clean hop bitter. Hop flavors are lemon, grapefruit pith, and oranges accompanied by a peppery zip (like one might expect in a czech pils). There is a woody character to the hops like one might expect find in an English IPA (like they used Fuggles). Malt is lightly biscuit and accompanied by pear and cantaloupe esters. Hop bitter is slightly grassy and a drying linger into the aftertaste. Burps are very grassy and, IMO, a nice revisit. A nice beer that is very drinkable. Some thickness to the beer that's cut by the grassy hop aftertaste that lingers.

On-tap at their brewpub.
- This is one bright cloudy orange and yellow west coast brew.. nice velvet white head, and leaves lacing and mountains of foam all about. Very pretty beer.
- Big bready and biscuit malts, yeasty.. light zesty hops, lemon, citrus, floral qualities...
- Smooth, bready, and creamy pale.. flows well. Floral and light bitter zesty hops.
- Light to creamy.. lightly carbonated yet with big fluffy head...
- A very well made pale.. almost your standard west coast IPA. Solid.
