Taster at brewery. Burnished copper color, silky head, solid lacing. Aroma is malty and woody. Taste also features a nice earthy, grainy malty vibey. Slick and dry. Best of the flight.

Probably one of the best DIPAs I've ever tasted. Good work!

Poured into a Dogfish Head pint glass. Pours a medium coppery amber with a nice two finger cream colored head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus and lightly herbal hops and light biscuit malt. Flavor is biscuit, slightly bready malt, intense citrus hops and citrus juice. Finishes with fierce citrus and bittering hops, rather astringent. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A nice malt body and hopped to the Norhtwest style, but the hops are somewhat uncomplicated and the finish is starkly bitter despite the nice malt support. A pleasant enough, but unbalanced IIPA that needs a bit more hop flavor to support its intense bittering hops. A little more balance could make this shine.

Pours a tawny, dark orange, almost coppery color, with an off white head of maybe a finger. Some splotches of lacing. The aroma wasn't too heavy, really. Biscuit malts with touches of caramel sweetness, some oranges and other subtle citrus notes. Taste steps it up. Heavy orange and orange zest, somewhat lemony too, sweet fruits and soft maltiness. Kicks with an intense bitter profile. Mouthfeel was enjoyable. Not a think and chewy DIPA. Medium body, good carbonation, mild crispness and oiliness.
Tastes great, underwhelming smell, but its an overall nice DIPA. Bet it would go well with some spicy food.
