Topped off my evening with this Stoudt.
A: A dark black beer with a tinge of red. Poured a thick white head with minimal lacing that dissipates quickly.
S: Big flavor of chocolate. Lots of dark roasted malt smell.
T: Tastes just like it smells, but not an overpowering taste which makes it quite enjoyable.
M: A very creamy beer. Leaves behind a good taste on the tongue and mouth.
D: Easy to drink one or two, but a filling oatmeal stoudt.

Fall 2007
Pours black with scarlet highlights in the light. A thick off white head recedes quickly and leaves behind some thin quickly vanishing sheets of lace.
Nose: dark chocolate, plums, lots of black malt
Smooth creamy mouthfeel that leaves behind a dry roasted chalkiness. Dark sweet malts with hints of cocoa, chocolate, some sweet caramel.
Love the creaminess of this oatmeal stout. Easy to drink and highly drinkable at 5.4 abv.
