Pours dark brown, almost black with a thin white head that quickly disappears to nothing, red hues, and moderate carbonation. Aroma of burnt malt, chocolate, coffee, and mild grassy hops. Body is light, clean, crisp and balanced but leaning towards a dry finish. Flavor is straightforward but stylistically correct and enjoyable. Plenty of dark roasted malts along with some coffee and chocolate flavors. Subtle amount of cherry sweetness. Hints of apricot and grass in the finish. Well done and very drinkable.
