Called Black and Gold Helles the day I was there.
Appearance: Bubbly pale gold with stark white head. Dissipates quickly.
Aroma: Sweet bready malts. Noble hops. Grassy. Clean.
Flavor: Light biscuity malts. Grass. Plenty of hop presence.
Mouthfeel: Clean, light, crisp. Very dry finish with good bitterness. Nice! Very carbonated. Right on for style.
Drinkability: Very good.

A-Golden color...minimal head...clean and clear
S-Great aroma...sweet bready, biscuity malt...noble hops lend a fresh grassy almost floral note....nice....
T-Has a helles like maltiness....bitterness is lower than ancticipated...not as dry on the finish as one would expect but that is fine with me. Great tasting lager..
M-Medium bodied....crisp and clean...
D-HIGHLY drinkable...this is one great tasting beer. Definitely leans on the malty side for this style but it is one heck of a drinker...

22 oz bottle.
Hazy looking. Tarnished deep golden hue. Thin bubbly dirty white head. Pretty average looks. Pretty nice aroma. Grainy, sweet, bready. Fairly nice feel to this beer. A slight dryness from the hops is noted. Otherwise, this is all malt. Not thick, nor should it be, but rather sweet and biscuity. A little grainy on the palate as well. Fairly clean overall. Medium to medium-full body. Lightly carbonated. Decent enough dort.
